hint: when pre-ordering games and consoles, treat that money as if you've thrown it away. Pre-ordering is like gambling, they may drag you in by saying it has 10% off or you get an exclusive, but pre-ordering is never, never consumer friendly. Although, it does help the company by charging you lots more.

PS: I'm a PC gamer, use that knowledge as you will. I don't hate consoles, I just prefer to use higher spec stuff

The one thing I can say is that Amazon or other online sites are a good look if you really want to pre-order. Most don't charge you until the product ships, so you have the opportunity to put a console on hold (cause you know they'll go fast and you want your "place in line") while you digest as much information as possible. That way if you change your mind you won't have invested money on it already.

This is solid business advice for ANY product, or really ANY venture in which you want to invest your time & money. Take your time, learn your facts, formulate your own ideas & opinions, and then make the choice that is best for YOU.

We could totally hear the loud music, Adam. You guys did well to report from within that racket! But perhaps next time you could find a quieter spot, even if you do have to report from a specific location to make the State Farms (or whatever it is next E3) brand look 'connected' etc...

I watch nearly every video Rev3Games makes, but Sessler's Something is definitely my favorite recurring segment, and that's saying a lot. So, I hope this last week didn't make you feel like you're getting too old for this business, because I look forward to watching your reviews and commentary for a long time.

Either that or they could sell the disc with the offline version on it and the disc would have key that unlocks multiplayer, like when do on games like battlefield, when you insert the disc. The multiplayer is saved on the cloud that way you wouldn't have to insert the disc when you want to play online and vice versa, play offline with the disc. It's part business and consumer benefits. I think it would be quick for installation also.

Why would you not be able to do that now? If I purchase a game from PSN I can go to a friends house and log in to my PSN on their system and download any of the games I purchased through PSN. Before this change there was pretty much no reason to buy an actual disc for the X1 anyway.

Adam, You are my "go-to-guy" with video games because even if I don't agree with your opinion I can always respect it because it's always intelligent and well thought out and it always gives me something to think about. You're a total professional. I'm sure many share my view. You're professionalism showed at E3, because the cacophony you were fighting was evident, and it was obvious that you were hoarse and sick but you still did a great job. Many thanks!
