Why You Shouldn't Pre Order Video Games

Why You Shouldn't Pre-Order Video Games. You shouldn't preorder video games because it doesn't hold gaming companies accountable when they release video games with bugs in them. Games like Grand Theft Auto 5, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare have had bugs on launch date. Despite the fact that all of these games have pre orders in the millions before launch.
Forbes even commented on the issue and here is an excerpt
For publishers, it looks good in the short term, because they’re insulated from their own lapses in quality, but its going to hurt everyone in the long term if we keep going like this. No industry can survive on hype alone: even Hollywood has to make sure that its movies actually play before it makes money. If pre-ordering games is bad, pre-purchasing them is worse. Can’t stress it enough: just don’t do it.

Yeah, I agree. I usually wait until one or two weeks after release date so that I can check the reviews to make sure its playable before I spend so much money on it. Why can't developers just get it right when they say they will?

I'm looking forward to Capcom VS SNK 3. I probably won't pre order it until I get to read reviews. Street Fighter V is going to suck I can FEEL it. Capcom is about to go bankrupt from what I've read because they conned gamers with their cash guzzler DLC.

I see you play basketball games, I'm not really into realistic sports games but I absolutely LOVED NBA Street and NBA Street Vol 2.  Have you ever played Journey on PS3? That game is one of the best games I've played in long time. I thought about buying a HDPVR to record some game play and eventually a speed run. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and Metal Gear Solid 2 are still my all time favorites.
