Yes, the viola part is fabulous, beautifully played, on a glorious instrument, with the great player a fine example to all team leaders

There's something special, inspiring, about Zagreb as a fount and spring of fabulous musical performances; this magnetic, magestic portrayal of so lovely a work of Mozart, with all the passion, profundity, precision and tenderness caught by orchestra and soloists- a family at one- is a memorable example, where the vivacity and beauty of play, supreme confidence and flair of musicianship, with fidelity and modesty, captures embraces and expounds, to the full, to a tee, the wonder of this creative master piece.

I just had the pleasure of seeing the Berlin Staatskapelle perform this, with D Barenboim conducting, at the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez, Philharmonie de Paris, with Yulia Deyneka on viola and Wolfram Brandl on violin. I love this version here with divine Susanna and Maxim and the fabulous orchestra, but nothing beats the acoustics of the Boulez venue. You land with your entire being in paradisiac velvet. I hope this music is never, ever allowed to die.

Prekrasno! A superb performance. As if the musicians are creating the music as they play. So full of life. It is pure joy to listen to this combination of intelligence, craftsmanship and genuine musicality.

Este concierto(sus tres movimientos) me da fuerza moral. Es uno de los que más me gusta aparte de sus conciertos para piano, sinfonías, operas(don juan...), ETC. La verdad que me identifico psicológicamente con su música.

Marvelous video, photography and sound, and it actually goes all the way through the first movement. Thanks to thespotmusic for posting it.

Gorgeous piece and performance. Love how the soloists each take their parts in the conversation. The viola is not overshadowed by it’s higher pitched cousin. I’m here because of #yearofwonder and #clemencyburtonhill. And, is that Mike Myers playing the solo viola part? Heh heh. I see his next movie part….
