As a Croatian, I have to say this is a good video, the only DON'T that is not correct is the one about tipping. Tipping is not mandatory as in some other countries, especially in a certain percentage. Ofcourse you should leave a tip if you were satisfied with the service/food, it's polite and makes both parties happy. And yeah, some of us may be proud but we don't get offended easily, especially if you're a tourist...

i would add one more thing. Don't skip the "inland" part of country. The seaside is great but the rest of the country is beautifull as well (best example are Plitvička jezera).

English is a compulsory subject in croatian schools. 8 years in primary school, and then the secondary school. So, yes, people do know english around here

Was on holiday in Croatia a couple of weeks ago . What a fantastic country. Agree with everything you said but one add on is tap water is ok to drink no need to buy loads of bottled water. And the cevapci is to die for :)

I am Italian and in my experience Croatians speak exactly as they think. Also they like those who show respect and have a good behaviour. If you have these two qualities you can make many croatian friends. I remember never ending conversations with croatians met right in the street. Just be fair and respectful

Ok so I'm 14 and I've lived in Croatia for 10 years now and let me tell you, we are a small Country with only 4.4 million people and I love seeing YouTubers make videos about hiw beautiful Croatia is. It really is an amazing place to go during the summer. The ocean is all around you in the hot weather and there is old churches, houses and museums everywhere. There is so many nice places to go. I can only recommend it.
