Questions:

Why do some officers wear bars on their shoulders, while the spokesman wears conventional naval stripes?

Why do the sailors wear olive drab uniforms at sea? Wouldn't blue be more appropriate?

I with you about peace and love but the IDF actually defends its people. If you look at Israeli history you'll see why the army is a necessity. I'm sure if they weren't under constant thread the military culture would be quite different.
