This is me in my home. Every single thing is made from scratch & I’ll look at you crazy if you ask, “why don’t you just buy the jarred spaghetti sauce?” No one likes to wait around for a meal so stomachs are grumbling & there are complaints…until I plate the dish for you. Then the compliments come pouring in along with the gratitude. If you’re used to doing things one way, shortcuts just feel like giving up & I see my cooking as spiritual & physiological medicine. I could never short change the people I love! ❤

I figured out to start cooking about 30 seconds after the last meal so that everything comes done on time though and no one is hungry.

🤣 This is my husband. He loves to cook but will turn even the simplest meal request into, at minimum, a 4 hour procedure. Some of his meals are completed after everyone has gone to bed.

When the kids complain he's like, "The pizza will be ready in only 2 hours!"
