Boros was what you wanted to be drafting in this set, often splashing into Orzhov. White was considered the strongest colour. And battalion: perfect ability in terms of flavour and gameplay. My copy of this deck has the foil prerelease promo Angel and it does look good!

I’m building a Battalion deck right now! My secret tech is Raise the Alarm (1W instant, make two 1/1 tokens), so end of their turn I make 2 creatures so I can surprise Battalion attack on my turn! This deck looks awesome! Wojek Halberdiers looks like a superstar in this deck. And you are right you Definitely need OG Ravnica block versus of of Skyknight Legionnaire!

Not a fan of Foundry Champion but i guess it make sense as a finisher 6 mana I win the now is pretty decent.

Gatecrash has a special place in my heart because it gave us Assemble the Legions which is usually one of the finishers I put in my White and Red based commander decks. I had a Zedruu commander deck that used almost exclusively enchantments and would in theory win after playing a bunch of shrines and other big enchantments casting Jokulhaups or Obliterate followed by Opalessence. I always died before I could get the combo off though people took umbrage with me using so many Oblivion Ring effects, Shrines and token generating enchantments.

The deck seems pretty good It's a good start to the Gatecrash Precons not anything to critique or laud it's just a fine white red weenie deck with a curve closer to what I was expecting the Rakdos deck to be like.
