Inaugural West Hollywood Pride Parade | West Hollywood, CA [4K]

Well.. this is very late in time.. but thats sadly very me sometimes. Before it's 2 months past Pride, I wanted to at least post it, especially given the absurd amount of time I spent editing it. I'm just gonna go with it still being summer... and pride is all the time, right! (besides some spots may still be having celebrations). Excuse me while I change everything below into past tense. 🫤
One may ask how this was the "inaugural" West Hollywood Pride Parade. I was certainly confused when I first read it as I've gone before and I know its happened there for decades. Due to a whole drama between the traditional organizers and the city of West Hollywood, that I likely don't know enough about to explain, there is now some sort of schism.
The outcome is that Los Angeles now had 2 prides on subsequent weekends. LA Pride was centered in Hollywood proper with a music festival in DTLA. And the city of West Hollywood decided to organize their own as they are the traditional home to pride. Therefore, this is technically their first self organized pride and parade.
Other than a couple of missing floats I only know about due to knowing people who work with those companies, it seemed very much the same as I remember and was really fun. I was planning to do a second video of walking around the parade route and festival afterward, but given the lateness I'm undecided. If you'd like to see it anyway, please comment below.
