3 days of celebration underway as WeHo Pride festivities kick off

WeHo Pride Weekend kicked off on Friday, and festivities continue all day Saturday before the Pride Parade on Sunday, June 4 in West Hollywood.

A street fair featuring dozens of performers and exhibitors will take place from noon to 10 p.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard on Saturday and Sunday. 

The OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride music festival at West Hollywood Park also starts on Saturday, featuring artists like Grace Jones, Carly Rae Jepsen and Princess Nokia. 

In addition, the Women’s Freedom Festival featuring musicians, comedians, poets and activists will take place at the Community Stage on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. 

The Dyke March, a motorcycle-led parade, follows the Women’s Freedom Festival.

i’ll be honest, I don’t agree with the LGBTQ but I also don’t believe a difference in opinion should be the downfall of somebody else. We shouldn’t hate one another but instead understand each other. I’m also a Christian. And I just wanna say Jesus loves you and if you seek him I promise you he’ll reveal himself to you like he has done many of us. And mold your heart to his will and you will be surprised to find fulfillment in him. All Love I promise 🙏
