Such a nice video of you and your pup. Some things I learned of the years: 1. First cut, then wash. It makes cutting easier plus you get rid of loose hair in the washing part. 2. Also, always try to keep your finger between the skin and the scissors while cutting. That way you make sure you never cut into the skin of the dog when they move. Just a few tips. But you did good for your first time, you are lucky you have such a patient dog haha, mine hates the cutting part and always tries to escape.... Big love ❤️

if you're afraid of using nail clippers, they sell nail grinders for dogs, or honestly for my chihuahua, I use regular nail files after I clip his nails, but if you did it regularly enough you might be able to get away with just using a nail file
