I also feel like the bullying has never ended bc I still experience ostracization at workplaces and any other social environments that for some reason still continue to have cliques. people still act like they’re in HS and it’s really frustrating

Growing up in a very rural, small population Canadian village, my dad just always taught me “Well, be smarter than them and don’t hit first, just hit back harder and end the fight”. So after being bullied from K-8, I’d take out all my anger by terrorizing my bullies at school with words and smacking them around off campus, so much that they didn’t want to go through the trouble of talking to and making themselves targets for me. Grade 9 I became “popularly accepted” because people knew I wouldn’t take their crap, but would be very nice when approached with friendliness and respect. I had to be extremely aggressive to get them to stop, and I feel like that’s a part of small town bullying (150 students).
Some bullies actually won’t stop until you MAKE them stop, one way or another. Hopefully most of y’all DO NOT have to do it the way I had to.

i had a guy bully last year bc i liked a genre of music and he did stop but my friends are like your being dramatic over hating him even though he made me depressed (for a while came over it this summer) feel unsafe still even not at school and stop talking bout my interest bc im scared) and the girls in my grade say i should date him even though i told them everything and i have to see this guy who bullied me for 5 more years

It got so bad this year that I had to transfer and my mental health is so bad and I have almost attempted so many times and then also they completely turned all my friends against me and the whole middle school

I got bullied in year 2, but they would punch me, hit me, pull my hair and throw me against the school gate. They were Boys.

Tbh a girl getting bullied by girls hits so different than if guys are the bullies. You grow up shy, awkward and insecure about yourself because you grew up in fear of the mean girls who always picked on something about you (whether it’s making fun of a physical feature, spreading rumours, etc)

im 13 and a group of girls USED TO bully me but during dodgeball i threw the ball to the "leader"s neck and they ended up in the ER, so yeah they left the school a few weeks later.

I didnt get actively bullied, everyone just kind of avoided me after 4th grade and the only friends i could make were new kids, i fidnt think anyone was being mean to me until recently
