Why were they so afraid of making Vander a whole-ass wolf in Arcane? Instead they made this weird in-between that looks uncanny.

They were afraid of upsetting the warwick mains and Arcane fans so they tried to mix it altogether and now both parts are upset. Worst decision making in the history of league.

they really should have renamed the skin to something thats.. not vander

they really chose the worst of both worlds by not committing to either the arcane or the in-game designs for warwick. either the arcane creators should have tried to make his evolved form look more similar to his in-game design, or the skin team should have made this skin look like the model that they used for tft. either way, this is a pretty disappointing skin.

After finishing Arcane I decided to see if the skin would look anything like Vander did in the show. If that was the case it was going to be an automatic buy because Warwick has been one of my Mains for years.

Im just glad that they didn't give him the VGU treatment but in Arcane they really butchered him, should've gone full werewolf at least in the third act.

Though I do agree that this is not Vander, it IS the point of him where Vander had only the monster left inside. Even then it's default Warwick with the Arcane coloring at that point.

WW main here, I wasn't a fan of the show design because it looked too alien, but it grew on me and it made sense why Vander looked like that lore-wise.

With the final evolved design, WW looked like an absolute menace on the show.
They managed to bring that glorious look into TFT, look at his walking and standing animations, his face...

And then there's this...
This version looks like the Walmart version of the Old God Warwick and the Vander in the name is purely insulting.
Either remove his name from the title or bring the TFT model for the base game ffs!

*Arcane Spoilers * Sadly caitlyn and vi's love story and the twinkinization of viktor were more important in arcane than developing warwick, the entire character was butchered, he exists only to bring the two sisters back together, I really expected him to only be revealed as vander at the very end of the show, having a mysterious bloodthirsty killer in the background and only having him appear in specific parts, with his hunt music playing, would be better in my opinion, having him be drawn to the bloodletting of the final battle and acting as wild card would've been so fucking awesome. This and other things such the complete erase of heimendinger (number one most stupid death in the show, they just killed him off so they didn't had to give him more screentime, mfs just pressed the delete button on his character), the lack of firelights presence of the second season/ the tree plot being abandoned/ekko being alone in the end, the lack of clarity on jayce's fate (I understand that viktor goes back in time to save little boy jayce, but I still don't understand what happend to jayce, did he just zero-summed out of existence?) kinda left me wanting for a better direction, the show is still absolute peak cinema dopamine machine, but its very clear that they just picked the characters and world setting from league lore and just made their own story, caring about fidelity to the original lore wasn't a big part of fortiche's plan, sadly

all they had to do is make it a legendary and use the ACTUAL Vander WW from tft, another classic riot fuck up... skins just keep getting worse and worse
