Victors whole thing was that hes not a mage but an artificer that uses magicly infused technology to substitude for magic. He was very similar to Heimderdinger in a way, which fitted well the Theme.
This chracater is not bad on its own but its just not Victor anymore. It could be its own champ would Riot have given him a new kit.

I started playing lol in 2015. Viktor is one of my mains. I did not care that his w got outdated after you guys gave every champ 10 dashes. He had a cool concept and art. You took away his style and left him with his outdated abilities. In the words of Hercules: "DISAPPOINTED"

Im glad riot themselves distance this "viktor" further from the real one by removing his association with machines entirely, because another all powerful mage was truly what this game needed more of.

For people who wouldn't get it. Old viktor fantasy is using technology to be at par with other magical beings, while other using void, blood, spirit, elemental, or runic magic, Viktor uses real life concept which he realizes at a fantasy setting like magnetism, gravity, energy, and ionic storm. Even his staff is tesla's coil and the hexcore is an infinite power source. This new viktor power just looks like other generic magic. You who says this design is better, good for you! design is subjective, but you cannot tell me this is viktor the difference is too far. And if you say his old design is outdated, then they supposed to make it up to date WHILE RETAINING HIS CORE IDENTITY WHICH IS A MACHINE HERALD. Like they can just make his body has a metal plating or wire.

Ngl, this is the biggest inglorious devolution I've seen since the Aatrox rework.

He only needed an updated kit and an ASU, not a whole rework. And this is coming from a non Viktor main. This ain't Viktor no more, this is Vincent.
