Actually there's no potato starch available near my area's grocery Stores and you've just given me the most beneficial video on how to make it at home. Thank you so much sir!😊🙏

I like the way you think. Convenience of modern day grocery stores makes us quite out of touch and ungrateful! Sometimes spending a evening on creating something be it food or other crafts can go a long way in keeping one grounded and appreciate the little things. Thank you for the video!

Don't worry, potato starch is an industrial byproduct :) that's why it's so cheap. The cut and soaked potatoes are not wasted, as they are the real product. We're efficient and sell or donate all parts of the production process

We don't get this starch near my area so when I see recipes I really wanna try I have to search for substitute so these kind of videos actually help ❤️

You’re absolutely right. When I make certain foods from scratch (and let’s face it even then it’s not fully from scratch if I’m not grinding my own flour, picking my own rice, planting & harvesting my own veggies, raising and slaughtering my own cattle etc.) it gives me such an appreciation for grocery stores and readily available ingredients. You really don’t know the difficulties of cooking until you make things from scratch or even semi-scratch. It makes you wonder how people cooked every day, multiple times a day without these modern advances. I couldn’t imagine spending all day in the kitchen for a meal or 2 day in and day out. It’s exhausting. We have a lot to be thankful for 💖

I really appreciate that you try to minimize food waste in your cooking. I probably won’t be making potato starch myself any time soon because I just bought a big container of it, but I’ll definitely make those pancakes when I finally run out of starch in 5 years.

You are simply GIFTED...
It's like I can RELATE it with my number of working hours in a day.
This is exactly the level of LENGTH I take my work to.
Best wishes 🌿🌎

This channel actually inspired me once to try and make a coconut latte from scratch!

And despite it tasting less than stellar (my coconut was starting to spoil I think), it honestly felt so damn cool to have made the entire concoction from scratch

The coconut was intact once, it made my syrup, the milk, and the coffee beans were whole, yet with my own hands they all became something I didn’t look at with the same admiration before

Not easier at all, but it makes you think about where your ingredients come from, and that is an experience that I can’t describe, but wholly reccomend you try to know what I mean

It reminds me of my childhood when we used to make potato chips in large quantities to store and use the starch to make papad

I agree; I'm probably never making my own potato starch. Your cooking is lovely. For once I have a suggestion for a collaberation; you'd be perfect with Spicy Moustache. All the best ❤

this reminds me a lot of my peoples culture as a native person in canada! we were treated as savages for this knowledge and connection to the land and had it tortured out of us (residential schools, sixties scoop). i’m happy to see the world is waking up
