Good grief, let's hope Iran can ultimately decide on a surgical, not "crushing" response. "Crushing" is an unprofessionally angry intent, and it would tend to deny Iran later maneuvering room.
I used to try to exploit overly aggressive opponents, using their mental motion to lure them out onto the tightrope of decision in the wrong frame of mind. There I would make things so difficult for them they would lose their patience, and carried along by their own intentions, they would lose their balance!
(I learned this technique by studying Satan's attack on ancient Eve!)
