I love it when Elton talks about his relationship with Bernie! It's a special one-of-a-kind relationship that is rarely seen. Having read everything I could find on the two of them they truly admire each other and respect each other for their talents. And I think it's absolutely touching the way they have a brotherly love in such a close bond with each other. 50 years of memories. To the good times and the low times I have such respect for both of them!

An Amazing Duet, Elton and Bernie. Their music never seems to age, the Last album Wonderful Crazy Night is amazing, such a great feelgood album.
I was 10 when I first got into Elton John, back in about 1971. My Old man didnt like me listening to what he called Pop Music, he wanted me to listen to the classics, which I do appreciate, but times have moved
I often used to think it quite odd that after my Dad left us, he came back on June 24th 1974 and gave me a copy of the newly released Caribou Album on tape.
42 years on, and it seems to make sense now...

Thanks for the Upload, that's a good interview.

Elton is one of the most wonderful people on this planet!!! I bought "Rocketman" before it was available, watch it once a month and am reading his autobiography, "Me" The laughs from the book are often and out loud!!! He is so special!!!! I have Elton on while I'm reading, of course and even the cover of the book is beautiful!!! 12/15/2019

I've been an Elton John fan since "Your Song" hit, and the combined brilliance of Bernie Taupin and Elton John is why. Thank you - this is an amazing clip.

I hate to say this, it's sad, but this is a fantastic clip that has very little views -- now you watch. When Elton John passes away, they will come flocking to this clip. It's too bad that we cannot appreciate the greats while they're here, but that is just the way of the world. We respect those who die by honoring their legacy, even if it's just with our attention and enjoyment of their work. There's nothing wrong with this, it is a natural human tradition that spans back before recorded history in about every culture around the planet.

"If I wasn't making new music, I think I'd feel differently [about touring]." That hit me! I immediately broadened "new music" to "new work from the various things I do." The next thought was how I like project work" over continuous work.
A second point also really spoke to me, "I embellish it [an already created visual story], " "It's like writing for a movie. When you're writing to visual things it's so inspiring. And, Bernie's lyrics to me are visual." A lot of what I am best at in life is less about creating new instances, than it is about engaging with existing instances, improving them, adapting them, evolving them, etc.
Original Context
"I love [touring] now more than I've ever done. And that's because I'm making new music. If I wasn't making new music, I think I'd feel differently."

I disagree about fans not wanting to hear his new stuff ... in particular, 'The Diving Board' and 'The Captain and The Kid' are albums where how should I say it; I listened to every track and enjoyed it all! ... if you've not heard those albums, I Recommend them .... I, personally, consider 'Home Again' to be the 'Song Of The Decade' when it comes to the decade known as 'The Tens' ... (2010-2019) .... best song of the decade, by Any musician
