The best speakers for me are the ones I got today to go with my new Denon 600 series Amp and CD player.
They are Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 and right now I’m loving the whole setup.

I’m sure there will come a time when I will want to upgrade from this entry level budget system but right now it all sounds fantastic to me coming from using my phone or PC for music. 🙂👍

Great point John! In the west we are so obsessed with obtaining what the marketplace defines as "the best", without first asking the most basic questions of what it is we really want and need. There's no need for me to have a speaker that touts a frequency up to 22 khz because my hearing taps out at 15 khz. Anything higher would just annoy my dog.

I agree. I bought the Proac d2r 3.5k and wasn't happy with the sound. I eventually got the Kef r3 meta 2k and bingo. Fab sound in my living situation. And 1.5k cheaper.
