At one point I thought that what Lynn described as a "Zeusian" (Great Reset, Green New Deal with only prospect being more war and misery)vs. "Promethean"(BRICS, BRI, Lynn's policies) struggle would go on forever, yet now with the acceleration of actions on both sides I know think we are very rapidly headed to a defining moment. Whatever the British do, it is always toward influencing Washington in a certain direction.The statements by British FM Grant Shapp regarding British boots on the ground and deploying the Royal Navy to the Black Sea are no different. The British can see that the war is failing, that support in Europe is fading and believe that only direct US intervention can reverse the situation. Hoping that Shapp's comments would cause the Biden administration to say, " Well if the British are going in, then so are we." Clearly, for the moment, it did not work, and was not well received, even within the Biden administration. Already way down in the polls, Biden does not want to go into an election year with Americans coming under Russian fire. Nonetheless, the situation remains very dangerous.
