I have been saying the same thing for decades now. When you have a small fighter vs a big fighter and the skill level is the same, then the physicallity factor kicks in which favors Canelo in this fight. Crawford will look nice early, but he will wear down over time when Canelo takes it to him on the ropes and in the corner. I admire Crawford, but he is in over his head in this one. Even the version of himself when he fought Spence in July 2023 won't be enough to get the victory. Canelo is in his prime right now and Crawford simply does not have the toolset to get the victory, but I wish him all the best and anything is possible. I think the best option for Crawford is to face Jermell Charlo. It would be great for boxing and the fans would eat it up, despite Jermell being out in September 2023. The build up to that fight would be exciting and both men have a lot on the line because it would be a crossroads fight for both guys even though Crawford is undefeated.
