Police say not to abuse the 911 system

Some anonymous calls to the police department have been alleging very dangerous situations.

If you call 911 dozens of times in the course of a few years over the same or similar instances involving the same person/people and nothing has been resolved with the situation, I.e. refusing to comply with government's recommendations and somehow the same people/person is able to continue to utilize this same cycle without being reprimanded even though true threats have been made by the officials, such as threatening to remove the child from the home due to multiple calls about domestic violence, and the threats aren't followed up on, this is exactly why the system gets abused and also exactly why real emergency calls aren't being heard and answered appropriately. In real life emergency situations, these calls are life or death. Not correctly answering one single 911 call could be a matter of life or death for us all. You get paid to answer a call and follow up to resolve the issue. Not to get a paycheck.

Now they are complaining of to many calls.

I'm a police officer's daughter and if I need to call 911 I expect my call and request to be answered appropriately. I'm disappointed to my core. I know WHEN to call you.

What about all the “chronic psych callers” they know who they are! That’s a good place for them to start
