For anyone having an issue with Lumen being greyed out everywhere but on (like I did), try turning off forward shading in project settings, reselecting your Lumen settings, and then restarting! Excellent tutorial!

You're truly the best at breaking things down clearly when it comes to unreal.

I'm back to unreal after a long while... and just to thank you for the clear information your sharing and the excellent quallity of the teaching. Clear and comphrensive. Tumb up and subscribed. Plus a little maybe worthy sidenote... Your tutorial plus everything that goes along with it as the the ambient provided by Unreal Marketplace runs perfectly smooth on my laptop with i7 7700Hq 16gigRam SSD & gtx 1050 4gigs. I am mentioning this as I am surprised how well and smooth this engine runs on such a small "gaming"machine...

Thanks mate, I watched the 2 hour course by epic which was good but I think I actually learnt more from your 15 min video.
Be really good if you can summarise all the ue5 features as quickly as this.

Do you have anything on good glass shaders for arkviz and Lumen? I find it hard to make realistic glass without pathtraceing. Bit of a deal breaker.

Thanks for your tutorial, When I see the render setting in UE5, I only see deferred rendering except lumen rendering, Is the lumen render setting decided by project setting? not by render setting?

Trying this now in the latest version of UE5 but with this same asset / scene - when you try to increase indirect lighting it doesn't work for some reason. It does work if you build your own scene but i'd love to know how to trouble shoot it with this scene built for UE4 and i can't figure out how to do that.
