I love the way she says she loved him. It wasnt forced or anything like that it was genuine. I wasnt a huge fan of her in the beginning but then again she was going through a cheating husband and all the pressure was on her. She is free to be herself now

Okay, but can we just talk for a minute about that moment when Magnus realizes that Alec was about to propose to him when he came home drunk and had that break-down, after which Alec broke up with him. That tiny moment, when he thinks that he ruined everything he could have... That must hurt so badly...

It's amazing how Maryse saved the day here considering how prejudice she was towards Magnus in Season 1. The character Maryse came a long way during the three seasons, definitely for the better.

I think it’s interesting that Magnus seems offended at the insinuation that he was lesser without his magic now that he has it back, when before he himself said he is nothing without it. What’s with the change? Is it a matter of perspective or is Magnus just being defensive here? I’d like to think that getting his magic back without Alec has made him realize that his magic is not as significant a part of him as he previously thought.
