This scene is PERFECTION. The look on Magnus' face before and especially during the hug... My poor heart! And the love and pride on Alec's face. :, ) (I know, right, Alec? I LOVE Magnus, too.)
Now, I really wanna know what happened immediately after this. Because Alec kind of looked like he REALLY wanted to thank Magnus properly. If you know what I mean. ;)

Also the way Magnus exhales and stretches his arms out at 1:16 is like "YES I DID IT!" He's so good at winning people over just like Jace said, first he won over grumpy cat Alec now his mom!

Maryse character totally changed from season 1 I really hated her back then but she's grown. I almost wonder if she was actually relived to finally be fired and divorcing Robert's cheating ass so she can spend more time with her kids and have a life of her own not beholden to them any longer. I love that she finally embraces Magnus and tells him thank you for loving her boy because Alec is now his boy too. Alec is really lucky he has a family that loves him and Magnus is best boyfriend (future husband) ever!
