The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET-UG 2024 results on June 4, 2024. This year, the exam was held on May 5 across 4,750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 international locations, for over 24 lakh candidates. Following the results, students raised concerns about irregularities and paper leaks. A notable number of candidates scored high, with around 67 achieving a percentile of 99.997129, leading to worries about inflated cutoffs. Some candidates obtained marks as high as 718 and 719. Additionally, several candidates filed writ petitions with the High Courts of Punjab & Haryana, Delhi, and Chhattisgarh due to lost exam time at certain centers.
