good to see EU is learning how to throw around its weight more in geopolitics. Individually most European countries cannot project that kind of influence, together we are stronger

as a wise and simple man from Asia, two minutes of google will tell you why Russia is disintegrating itself economically, militarily, politically, socially and morally in every sector.

Fight back time. Putin shouldn’t be allowed to bully whomever he desires anymore.

It's also the policy of the new Japanese government to be more 'active' rather than 'passive' in world politics.

It's a shame that it took a war for cooperation like this to come into fruition, but it's some good news among the bad.

love japan which is a democracy, china should be more like japan and korea and actually more like Taiwan, if china was like Taiwan we wouldn't have a conflict . multi party democracy with a freer press is the way to go china . its more stable in the present age . best wishes to japan from uk

Dear EU members, welcome to Japan. Russia, which invaded Ukraine, is actively engaged in military activities in East Asia, including around Japan, to show off its own military power. China has taken advantage of the crisis in Ukraine to conclude a military agreement with the Solomon Islands. North Korea launched ballistic missiles toward Japan on the day of the EU-Japan summit. I believe that the security of Europe and Japan are inextricably. Japan and the EU, which are located on the east and west sides of the Eurasian continent, increasingly need to strengthen their ties.

China will probably learn from the Ukraine war to use tactical nukes early in invading Taiwan. This prevents prolonged exchange of bombardments and heavy losses, both of military personnel and civilians.
