REGRET BUYING THIS LEGO!? Investment Set Collection Update

Today I buy some LEGO from a local classified ad... and I may live to regret it! I don't think it was as good as I thought it was... but hey I still got some cool sets and a wack of Minifigures. In addition to the shopping, I also reorganize my investment set collection by adding a new shelf!

Series 3 CMF Fisherman @ 10:21. bunch of other ones are CMF too that I spotted (mummy, weight-lifter, alien, bat, witch). See if you can find the accessories for those ones.

If that shelf is for investment sets, you might want to move it away from the window and any direct sunlight. At the very least cover the sets you put on the shelf in some way to avoid any kind potential damage and temperature changes. If you plan to put them in bins, make sure they are dark or all black. In terms of speculating with Lego, not worth it unless you make it the main focus. Collectible speculation is 24/7. Your overall dream would be better achieved with a business plan and loan than hoping current sets become worth the thousands you will need.

the investment shelf is still really handy to have even if most of the items are still currently going they may eventually become retired sets not to mention sets that become no longer easier to get hold of, as for the seller situation, you handled that very well. the fact that you offered to wait in the parking lot untill the transaction went through and gave him all of your details should have proved that you were an honest person. myslef and my 8 year old son have now become a fan of your channel.

That bag of minifigs it not all for bust. Frodo is cool. If those are dwarves from The Hobbit, they're worth quite a bit I believe. You have a cool looking King minifig. A couple vintage castle & pirate/Imperial minifigs. Variety for the castle area will be nice. I saw a fairly rare pirate torso. Headless with black legs near the bottom left at 10:41. When I do minifig orders on Bricklink, I buy unique pirates to have on my ship and my 2x size Barracuda Bay. Same with castle. Last edit: if you'd speculated with Blacksmith Shop, you would have already seen them rise $30 each!

I see some good potential in the minifigs that you got. It will in the long run be great for yah as well as the current sets. Once they are deleted or someone can't get them, they will be worth more. The Dwarves are from the lego Castle Set 7036. At least, around that era/series of lego.

I have always wanted to buy Lego lots of facebook but never could get the courage up to do it. I like your deathstar as it is difficult to get them complete for a decent price. Hopefully you find enough stuff in the bags to make it worth while.

Marketplace is the best place to buy lego. The best finds I have found are the Darth Malgus ship with minifigures for 75 dollars, king Aragorn, the mouth of souron and gandalf the white for 30 bucks and im waiting for the phantom with thrawn and blind kanan for 25 bucks!

But its a bet everytime, there are lots of fake lego and rude people. Also many ripp offs and informal people. Its a risk But sometimes its worth it. Its sad to hear you got an experience that bad.
