Dog Bless You, Pete Townsend and The Who. One of the most honest songs written.

the Ox's Bacardi and orange in his water bottles attached to the mic stand always makes me smile, possibly the greatest bass player of all time, the total opposite of Moon yet they sinc together so well, watch how they hand control to each other as Pete and Roger just wander about by themselves, this is The Who at their peak IMO, the time I saw them, and this is their best song IMO, everyone has their own favourite songs, usually because they connect with the lyrics, it has been hard for me to have a favourite as so many resonate with me personally, Th Ox died as he lived, in the arms of a Hooker snorting Coke & drinking Bacardi in a Las Vegas hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe aged just 57 his dad died 12 months later. beat that ! a true rock legend if ever there was one who left a huge back-catalogue of work behind him, 20 solo LPs, 7 45s, and 40 session albums. 55 Who LPs, 58 WHO 45s, 4 soundtrack albums TOMMY QUADROPHENIA + 2 MORE, guested on almost as many LPs by other bands from Zeplin to Zappa, other than whores drugs booze and music he didn't have a lot of time for other pursuits he once said, but he did like fast cars to get between his places of work and fun,

The contrast in demeanor between Moon and the Ox is staggering. These guys are the ultimate 🍻👏🏻😎💜

This the Who! The pure unadulterated Who, with the Tea ( John Enthwistle) and the Theater (Keith Moon). 2:04

This was The WHO’s equivalent to Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” due to its similar structure.
