I was 12 when this song came out and it made my eyes leak. I'm on the way out now at 63 with cancer and the song still makes my eyes leak and yes, I have very blue eyes.

I am 72. I grew up with these guys and hundreds of others just as good as them. I kept thinking that Rock would just go on getting better. Man was I wrong. The shit they call music these days is a joke! But I am proud to say my generation gave the world this music!

The great Keith Moon. Just like John Bonham, the bands were never the same. Two of the greatest drummers of all time. R.I.P.

The Who were a force. To see them live was an event, powerful, electric, energized. What a group.

What kind of group creates "Behind Blue Eyes" AND "Baba O'Reilly"... maybe my two favorite songs of all time - or, at least tonight. Happy I was there to hear it in real-time.

As a black man the first time I heard this song, i thought he was talking about black men in general.(No one knows what it's like, to be a black man, to be a sad man, behind brown eyes) This during the time of empathic consciousness. It's been anthem of mine ever since. And i lasy saw the WHO, in 07! Great show!

to go back to those days and relive those times would be magical. So much good music in my childhood... didn't know how good it was but looking back now... I can see it was epic!

Another killer song by the Who, Keith Moon really did add a lot to these songs. When viewed by each element comprising the song, they’re sparse and perhaps even simple sounding but when combined it’s rather complex, great composing production engineering and mastered. Just a f’ing awesome song

This song was written and released more than two years before I was born but it had always been one of THE songs of my life! It companioned me all through - hard times, very long wonderful and haeaven-like times and then even harder times again. I am 57 now. And I think I can say I heard, loved and WORSHIPPED this song and the band for all 57 years and will always do! THE song of a lifteime ...for me, at least!

BUT ...had The Who released their last (?) new song (Real Good Looking Boy, 2004) before 1968 ...it would have been THE one for me. First BIG ballade - last GIANT ballade ...shy to 40 years inbetween - what a fantastic story of a fantastic band!!! I bow down to Pete and Roger!!!

I'm not good at figuring out song meanings but this song made me cry often because my brother and I were raised by an alcoholic single Mother. Through sports I was able to connect with our Father if he ever came around. But my brother Mike wasn't able to connect at all. He was left out on an island all alone. In turn he started to get in trouble as a young teen, ran away from home a couple times and ended up in children's homes. But we loved The Who TOGETHER. It was special. I have brown eyes, his eyes are blue. And I'm crying as I type this. Wow.

The most authentic Rock and Roll band ever. Teenage angst, overdriven aggression and incredible players.
