Give yourself permission to show up without makeup to a fire call - that stuff might even be flammable. No one is judging your face at a fire!

For some of us, this is a dog toy (and chew bone) declutter. 🐕 🐾

I’m gonna be sad when this is over 😢. This has been really fun……We should do it again in December 😮😊. Get ready for all those presents, especially if your bday is in December. Or January.

I've been told that the competitiveness and rage can be an ADHD thing. My daughter and I have it too. When she was 4 she stopped playing board games with me because if she couldn't win what was the point 🤣 then she got to teenage years and realised everyone knew how to play card games and board games but her and it suddenly became interesting however she much prefers to win. I have the same slippers as you and I live on the other side of the world. it's a small world. Anne, Tasmania Australia 🐨

You do not need makeup to fight fires. I speak from experience. You know you are going to get messy and dirty. I am a former public safety officer which means I was a police officer who was cross-trained in fighting fire.

I had an amazing day.
I invited a friend over since I started decluttering and I wasn’t stressed, racing around like an idiot trying to clean up because my home was clean and tidy.
Thank you so so much Cass for all that you have done for me.

New mantra…”We (I) deserve a place that’s easy to take care of!”
I am a little OCD so I went gung ho! Happily tired! An amazing month!

Well, life is not a competition. The only one we should ever compete again is ourselves. Cas you are good enough. Give yourself a break. When we do compare ourselves, it's usually someone else's best against our worst and that's really not fair. Take Care. Thanks for the video.

My children are in the latest 30s. I went through all their old toys, etc about five years ago and took pictures of everything and texted them to each child. They didn't want any of it. A lot of it went to the Boys and Girls Club then to the donation center. I could not believe I kept so much for so long. It took up almost an entire bedroom in the house. A couple of years later it made life so much easier to paint and replace the carpet. It wasn't easy but it was so worth it. Thank you Cas.

I CANNOT THROW OUT ANYTHING OF VALUE, I have to donate it. I realize I've been having a physical reaction when I see stuff I feel should be donated and not go to the landfill. Otherwise I understand the clearing out systematically of the inventory no longer needed by doing these mini sweeps. I don't have much left in my house because I've been training myself to do this as I handle/ touch anything in my home. The most important part of all this is to stop consuming and just love and be grateful for what you already have and use it up. Recognize you don't need very much.

I wanna see you take your competitiveness to the next level and show up to a fire first, put it out, save the children, and go back for the dog all before the truck arrives. 😂

I haven't been so elated as when I was rummaging in my attic and found my 65 year old teddy bear and lambie. My 40+ year old son asked about his toy rabbit. I still have Lego castles and robots he and his brother built, and other playthings and books from our childhoods. I like being the curator of these and would feel so out of place without my stuff. But there are things I'd donate or give to someone who needs it especially if it's keeping it out of a landfill. Seeing the curtains and Lego go into a trash bag was not a good feeling for me, personally. I appreciate the suggestions but I'm definitely not going to pitch things just because someone suggests it.

We found an old elementary school journal of my ultra-competitive brother's. It said, "Wade (older brother) beat me at brushing teeth tonight. I HATE THAT!"

My son is a 22 year old college student and still has a bunch of children's toys--I would never even think about throwing any of his things away as they are not mine to dispose of--even when he was under 18. I did go in to his room after he left for fall semester to dust and organize this shelving. I only threw two things away--a twist tie and the under-cap to his deodorant. 🙂
