A great explanation.. I watched a couple of other videos but none covered the growing location as you’ve done.. thanks for a great explanation. 👍

North American new to alliums. I got one giant soecies, one medium, and one small. Glad to hear that they like full sun. I think I planted some of my small one too deep. All the others have sprouted beautiful leaves.

Perfect timing! My flowers grew with very short stems and I was trying to figure out what I did wrong. I definitely planted them too close. They are cute little plants, but I was expecting 5ft high like last year. Mine are a only a foot.

I love the gladiator bulbs, however, I never get them to come up for a 2nd year?? So this year I’m digging up the bulb to save for planting in the fall to hopefully get those blooms back next year. Any advice for me?? I’m in northwest Arkansas and I have them planted in a full sun area and they always are rotted.

Bought one of these from a garden centre last year, it seemed to go great guns, We only have a pot garden, facing East in Macc, UK. Now it has started to go again, but we have three, 2 about six inches already and one pretty feeble one. I re-potted the first two together (as the other hadn't appeared.) I didn't know whether I was going to find seperate bulbs or just one, doing the job and a bit scared of killing it. So, based on the vid (and thanks for that) would the advice be to get in there again and seperate them and pot individually? As is obvious, I'm a bit of a buy, put it out there and whatever will be will be type of "gardener". Any help welcome.

When should you use fertilizer for Alium? I read late summer is best. I have them in pots, lots of sun but NO flowers yet. They were transplanted from a smaller pot from my local Home Depot

Very informative. However, your background music is too loud, and it makes it difficult to concentrate in your instruction. There is no need for the music.
