My favorite lavender is sensational and second is phenomenal. They both endure our humidity here in New England. Also important to add lime to keep the soil alkaline as much as possible

Great video on lavender, it was the bees knees. The only lavender I have seen for sale in garden centres here in Ireland is munstead. I think I grew some in pots years ago but the big freeze of December 2010 killed them.

Another good, helpful video. I have had lavender a few times but it always goes leggy. Bought new last year but again not liking it, it is going straggly already. I will cut back in August and see what it is like but otherwise it will be coming out. Could you do something on Begonia x tuberhybrida please, I have some from last year and they are not getting any flowers, lots of healthy looking foliage but thats all. Also, do you know anything on black bamboo. My sister has it and I do not know what has happened but looks as if it is dying. It was already there when she bought the house 3 years ago. The leaves have all gone brown and it just looks a mess. The other bamboo next to it looks ok. Such a shame as it is nice. Thank you.
