Specialized Tarmac SL7 Comp Review: Understanding the Specialized Tarmac SL7 Comp (Expert Analysis). Welcome to our review of the Specialized Tarmac SL7 Comp.

Specialized Tarmac SL7 Comp Overview
The Tarmac SL7 Comp is a carbon road bike made with Fact 10r carbon instead of the Fact 12r on the S-Works model and a new SRAM Rival eTap 12-speed electronic shifting that provides the perfect combination of lightweight and aerodynamics. It has almost the same geometry as the previous model with slight adjustments to the tube head length, but the wheelbase remains at 97.8 cm, a stack of 53.4 cm, and a reach of 38.7 cm.
The major design difference is the seat tube which is a D-shaped tube and post with a rear-wheel cutaway on the S-Works, but the Tarmac Comp has a standard round tube with a 27.2 mm carbon post. The 3D-forged stem connected to the compact drop bar and 26 mm wide tires makes up a front end that can easily tackle rougher road terrain. It also comes with 32 mm deep rims that are compatible with tubeless tires.
