Mitch O'Farrell on L.A. City Council Controversy

Mitch O'Farrell is the temporary President of the L.A. City Council during one of its most consequential weeks ever.

He's pushing for the resignations of his colleagues Kevin De Leon and Gil Cedillo. He will not be seeking the presidency himself during an expected vote on Tuesday among the council.

He joined us on the FOX 11 News Special Report at 6PM.

This is an inaccurate and subliminally racist back and forth between the news commentator and O’Farrell. The racist slur “boy” wasn’t used to describe Nury Martinez’s guy O’Farrell on the audio. But O’Farrell sure did use it here. With vigor. If I was him I would’ve stopped the commentator the minute he used the word. Not repeat it with such emphasis.
