Something I noticed from a solo/duo speedrun perspective regarding making Cloth is that Thick hide -> Cloth seems to me to be the "easiest" to capitalize on while you're progressing through the game, since Thick hide is almost entirely unused (bags, saddle and Merc hollowfang), yet you usually end up with a fairly decent amount of it by end-game, as well as a solid amount of Oil to refine it with.

So while you're progressing quickly, instead of purposely going out of your way to farm Pristine hide AND mutant grease over and over to use for Silk AND pristine hide AND cloth (which obviously is great if you have the time to do it), the Thick hide conversion is basically done with no extra effort other than Plant Fiber farming, and you can reserve your grease for Silk worms and Pristine Leather for Dawnthorn.

Obviously when you're at end-game and you need more and more cloth etc, using Pristine hide is simply a better option, but while you're still pushing to end-game, you can get a ton of extra cloth just by tossing your thick hide in with the fiber in preparation for late game.

You can use grass foundation and put the 5line dirt planters on = better plant density

one thing you can do in that spot is gatekeep tristan! when he walks out the front, just go aggro him and drag him into a 1x1. extort him for goldsun coins when players inevitably come

Funnily enough, the resources on this video that I struggle the most to farm are glass for the cannisters, and fish for the fishbones.
