After the last 2 years of constant defund the police and officers around the country being fired for doing thier jobs. Besides the fact that they get paid nowhere near what they deserve for the amount of danger they face on a daily basis.

These poor police officers are terrified to do their job in my opinion you have to be worried about if someone's going to throw out the race card at you if you apprehend a criminal that is of color you have to worry about using deadly force if your life is in danger because you're going to be sued or you're going to be put behind bars as a police officer I don't see this is any surprise that Pennsylvania is in a shortage crisis right now and it's very sad in fact ever since the George Floyd issue I think every police officer has had to take a hard look at reality that they walk on eggshells and it's unacceptable It's absolutely unacceptable... I think when police are allowed to start doing their job again you'll see the number of police officers coming back into the field climb..

It’s bigger than the sign on bonus. The people advertising defund the police should be addressed. They want too much and it’s ruining these cities, but they are very ignorant about those facts. Some of them live in these cities where they need more cops 🤦🏻‍♂️

But let's understand something here, a lot of people in the young community aren't taking the initiative to become a police officer because of the overall issue throughout the country.

And that is bad policing toward minority communities. Becoming a police officer is largely frowned upon in the urban society.

A lot of these young kids that have become young men and women are in the rally groups against Bad policing.

How do we expect more people to be ambitious to become police officers when they are busy fighting bad police officers?
