Can Everyone in the World Fit Inside New York City??? (World Population is 8 Billion People)

Can the entire world population of 8 billion people fit inside the boundaries of New York City?

The total population of the world crossed 8,000,000,000 in 2022. That is a tremendous amount of people. However, even though the land area of New York City is tiny in relation to the rest of the world, all 8 billion people could stand side-by-side in its confines. This video explains the math that proves it.

Not sure how you get 1 SQ foot...I'd allow for at least 5 or 6 sq feet per persom...I'm about 4.5 from a birds eye view. At any rate, even at such higher calculations, Delaware could surely fit so sized, 8 billion strong, in its' 2, 500 Sq miles

My shoulders are more than 1 foot wide, as are most people's, so even if your feet could fit, you would take up almost double that sideways on shoulder measurement.

You're almost right however the people would be also stacked on top of each other up to four or five stories high

The math only works if everybody was 1 square foot from head to toe this isn't the case though is it because everyone are different sizes and probably only a 5 year old could fit through a 1 foot square head to toe, a big person at 30 stone "and there's plenty of them " may be able to only occupy 1 foot at floor level but at waist height will be at many square foot of space, so I'm afraid this is completely WRONG and misleading..😅
