The reason it hurts so much is because we genuinely got to feel like we were a student too. The show was just done so well, and Koro sensei, even though he wasn’t a real person in our world, still serves as one of the best inspirations and teachers we could have ever had.

I’m not an emotional person, at all, honestly, I barely cry or show any real emotion but shit man, I just watched this tribute right after listening to “I really want to stay at your house” from cyberpunk Edgerunners which already had me crying man…

RIP Koro Sensei. You were one of the greats of all time. Thank you for your invaluable teachings and most importantly, your presence whenever we were down. There were always enough tentacles to hold us up. Hope you found peace, happiness and your favourite foods, wherever you are. Thank you for everything!

This anime was something so life changing for me, in a sense. It taught me so much about life even though I am 23 when I watched it. The dread I felt in my chest when I knew he had to die was like losing someone I personally knew. I don’t know if I will ever find another anime aside from this and Fruits Basket to heavily relate to ever again.

Just finished the entire series yesterday and gosh I cried at Koro-sensei’s death 😭
That moment where Koro-sensei started drifting into glowing yellow dust and then slowly disappearing into thin air until there was nothing left of him anymore except for his uniform as class 3-E’s teacher and then everyone started crying loudly, and others cried silently...damn that was seriously so heartbreaking I could barely handle it. I was literally crying. And now, the more I think about Koro-sensei’s death, the more I want to cry again. Like, there’s still lump in my throat that hurts the more I hold in my tears. 😭
