Bro was literally broken dude. He wasnt in the right age to identify the wrongs and rights he was amazed by Koro-sensei's skills. In one episode he said "My tentacles asked me what I wanted to be.. I wanted you to acknowledge me.. I wanna be just like you"

He said that because Koro-sensei didnt know how to look at his pupils success at first. Thats why when Aguri taught him the way of being a teacher, Koro-sensei talked to 'Reaper' he told him this "Lets study in the other side when we meet... So we cant make the same mistakes again"

The fact that Itona and Kayano is almost fully corrupted by the tentacles is just a plot twist for me

I thought Itona could be the last enemy before we kill koro sensei but after i saw him getting better is just wow

And for Kayano i thought she would be the one who is friends with all of them but turns out it was part of her act just to kill koro sensei

Even though all of them have the same goal the fact that kayano have been hiding her tentacles makes me hurt

Takaoka is an interesting case 'cause his first appearance he's pure evil with his "might makes right" attitude but the consequences of that make his psyche completely shatter so he's pretty fucking broken when they run into him again.

I don't think of the principal's son as a villain, he was an antagonist at worst and a reasonable rival academically. He even calls out the others jerk and tells them to take their defeat with grace. He is visibly shocked when he sees the state of his friends after the principal 'has a word with them'.

Also Nagisa's mom is both evil and broken, she is clearly insane. She is the reason Nagisa looks so girly because she lost her daughter and made Nagisa dress as a girl until he found a way to express himself his own way, this is seriously unhealthy for children. Finally she is horribly abusive, you can't watch that scene her grabbing his face and see shaking him the way she did as anything but pure abuse.

The Reaper was broken, that’s what the show tries to show you will all the people that underwent experimentation; he wanted koro-sensei to acknowledge his strength and power, to feel like he deserved his attention. That was the whole reason he betrayed him when he was human; he just was never given the attention or credit due
