An act of brazen vandalism over the weekend resulted in a Detroit pizzeria temporarily shutting its doors.

When I was 16 I saved up for a car.. it was dieseling and I needed the carburetor adjusted.. I paid a small shop to fix it.. as I drove away it continued to do the same thing.. I went back that night and broke every window in that shop... I'm not proud of it but people are always ripping us off

For those of you not familiar with area, Livernois between 6-8 mile truly has made a resurgence over the last 4-5 years (especially between 7and 8 mile). I go the Burcharest grill location down there fairly often. I'm not saying I'm ready to go walking around there by myself at 2am just yet, but it's really turned around both in terms of business growth, asethetics, and improved safety- there's a decent police prescense down there, it's a shame that this happened.

This is so sad and I guess now everyone can see why almost nobody wants to locate businesses there. I wish this guy luck in his future endeavors though.

Let’s look at possible motives such as being upset the place was closed so he couldn’t eat, or angry about the gentrification of the area, or maybe creating business for a local glass company, or just a mental health breakdown…in which case maybe they’re lucky they weren’t open at the time.

People trying to bring back something decent to my home city of Detroit. Then there are those who just love to see raggedy things to complain about. One reason why I moved to Hawaii, when I came back in 2015. I was TOTALLY heart broken by what saw from my neighborhood as a kid😢 I grew up on Montclair between Harper and I-94. Drive down Gratiot towards 8 look like something I never thought I see!
