What is a Response Spectrum Analysis? and How to use it in Seismic Design of Structures?

In this video, the use of Response Spectrum analysis in seismic analysis and design is explained.
The video answers the following questions: What is a Response spectrum curve and how to draw the curve for a specific earthquake and how to draw it using ASCE7-10 code provisions.
An example is given on how to design a Single Story Single Degree of freedom system using ASCE7-10 Response Spectrum method.
