hi everyone! welcome back to my channel! super happy that you’re back and hope you’ve been doing well. In this vlog, I took myself on a self date. Not gonna lie, this self date was difficult coz I was literally staying in my bedroom for the past week. Having absolutely no motivation to go out the damn door, let alone take myself on a date. but here I am, I decided to take myself out so here we are. It did make me feel better. I think just going out of the house made things better for me.

I also talked about the reality of being single lol since yall know I've been single for the past 22 years. and once again me saying that is not an open invitation to be asked out lmaoooo. no but seriously don't.

I've been feeling lonely these days. been doing a lot of thinking as well. but I do know that going out and just being outside does make me feel a bit better. i do sometimes wonder if I want a change in scenery, like if whether moving to a new place would make me feel better? hmmm idk.

i hate how society has made it seem like it’s weird to be by yourself in a restaurant or at the movies. it should be normalized its self-love and care. people shouldn’t feel pressured to hang out with others to be “happy”, so when i see videos like this, normalizing these types of things it really just warms my heart. yesterday, I decided to have my first ever solo day. I went to the mall and got some new clothes, got burger and fries at Red Robin’s (WITH A MF MILKSHAKEEE), then I got a ticket to see a local theatre play.

All in all…please know it’s okay to do things alone. I’m gonna make a note to have a solo day every week.

i'm a young teen and i find it so ridiculous how everyone just NEEDS to have a significant other 24/7. They get together, break up, and then find someone else and it constantly repeats. but honestly seeing all the drama that goes on i've never once even thought about dating someone, and you further prove my point! it is really nice just doing things for yourself, and i'm glad there's someone who thinks the same way- so thankful for you :) <3

⭐ I think when it comes to dating, one thing to keep in mind is that you cannot compromise who you are. If you are the type of person that enjoys living alone, or sometimes going out alone, or even travel alone, you should be able to do those things even when you're dating someone. If the other person cannot respect who you are (obviously it goes both ways), then it's not a relationship worth having. Relationships must be a plus, not a minus. At least that's my opinion. Dating can, and must be, fun! Or else what's the point?

as an introvert, I truly do love being alone, but being lonely and alone is just a different feeling. I looked right into your eyes and said "I didn't enjoy this vlog" because you're so comfortable going out and having fun on your own and I can't do that without having a weird feeling that I'm missing something, that I shouldn't go out alone because I'd rather do the same thing at my home or maybe just not being that comfortable being on my own with my own thoughts as the only source of stimulation. That’s okay. Girls, remember being alone is the time for you to focus on yourself, do what you love, because when you are in relationship, you will need compromise with your bf or gf. I recently followed you and I realize we are same on so many levels. I just recently broke up with my boyfriend of 8 months. We agreed that we kinda split up because of our busy schedule and our (well mostly mine) priority. I graduated from high school and I kinda lost all of my friends :') so I feel lonely af, I cry constantly and my exam results isn't announced yet but I feel like I failed and disappointed my family. I love how now is getting normalized to take care of yourself and take yourself to dates, I'm single and I live alone as well so I understand how bad it can feel sometimes the loneliness and I don't know how would I've been doing without this type of content that motivates me to get out of my comfort zone and go out alone, I honestly enjoy that so much, I wish I can afford to do so more often!
