They said you will feel some pressure…. It was extremely painful. I almost kicked the doctor. So I was absolutely terrified when they went to take it out. I was sweating I had anxiety and it did hurt when they took it out but it was so quick that it was nothing like putting it in.

I removed my mirena IUD today, and I asked if it will be painful.. she said that it is more painful when they put it. THATS NOT TRUE!! It was painful as hell!! The nurse was getting scared of my face because I became white. It was like a huge cramp with no end 😣😢😢😭 I won’t use a IUD anymore

After having my hormonal iud for almost a year I just pulled it myself after making sure it is safe to do it myself. I just took some paracetamols, soaked myself in a bath for a 3 minutes and then slowly pulled it out (outside the bath tub) and then got back in the bath. The iud gave me everyday cystic acne which I’ve never had before, mood swings and depression.

I hated it being put it in. The experience was so traumatising. I don't know what I'm gonna do because I want to remove it and I don't think I can go through that process again!

Wow smart, but can I ask something though if someone wants to remove the IUD can she do it herself? Another question is do u use the same method to remove the IUD when it is inserted during C-section way or u have to be c-sectioned again to remove it?

4months ago on April16 2024, I delivered baby boy, thru c-section, they inserted copper t in my uterus, now the lenghthy string hanging out. I can pluck it out, but im scared, could I do that? Giveme advise sisssys...
