I love a long lens. 35mm looks like what I can get on my cell phone. My favorite is 85... Not too long that everything has to be super far away, but long enough that it brings the image to you.

The Canon rangefinder is not an "EP". It is one of the several models around the II or III from early 1950s. The EP marking stands for "exchange post". This means that the camera was sold in Japan through a military post exchange, like a supermarket on the base for military personnel. All camera bodies sold though that outlet were so marked. The 100mm 3.5 is probably a bit younger. It is a long focus design, not telephoto. One of my favorite lenses for the system.
