Custom fields in Pipedrive allow you to store important information related to the deals (sales opportunities) you're working on, the people and organisations that you're selling to. In this video, I share how to create new custom fields, the different settings and quality rules that are available. I also show how to use formula fields to perform calculations, useful for things like calculating sales commission.

I am attempting to run a report on a custom report of "Referred by" this can be for a person, company, or Deal. Whoever referees something, I input their name. However I am not able to run a referred by report?

Can I create custom object in pipedrive? I want to add new object Contracts and add all the custom field under this "Contracts" object.

As well as Leads & New business I would like to add in a Repeat business pipeline
The question I have is can pipeline generate Enquiry numbers (i.e. E1234)

Every new enquiry we have gets logged on a spread sheet all the documents & drawings are then stored in a file with the enquiry number against it

If Pipedrive could generate this number I could get rid of this spread sheet

We currently use workflow 2 for managing jobs & time sheet entry's, the Lead generation part of this software is not ideal

Pipedrive looks like it work better if i could get it to generate this Enquiry number for me
