I’m currently in Prague have travelled by eurail pass from Stockholm, all my trains have been exactly on time, yes you do have to wait 1+plus for a connecting train at very odd hours of the day but keep in mind if only give yourself a few minutes to make a connection and haven’t been to one of the countries train stations they are huge with multiple platforms and train routes coming and going, so it can be overwhelming and confusing, google maps will not be exact so it is not realistic to just be able to run for a train and catch it in a few minutes. You’ll sometimes have to take an signs that are in different languages/encounter unhelpful staff/people that don’t speak your native tongue and figure it out yourself. If you have to have a seat reservation they are not all offered directly through eurail site but only through that train lines website be careful to make sure you’re only purchasing a reservation and not a full ticket and know how to access it ahead of time to have ready when queuing for the train. These places are BUSY and the train will NOT wait for you! But everyone can do it!
