That Southern accent always melts my heart to butter. Nothing quite like a Southern lady.

These two women sound mentally stable, self-aware and well adjusted. This is what all men want in a mate, the accent is just a bonus.

Married a Texas Girl... best thing that's ever happened to me. Gave me kids, gave me meaning, what more could a man want?

Californian here. When I was in the Navy years ago as young guy during Vietnam era, flew to Dallas. There were a couple of beautiful young college gals at the luggage carousel waiting for their bags. One of them looked at me, saw a duffel and asked "is that your bag, sugar?" in a deep southern accent.

I fell in love in a quick instant. That endearment and the accent in which it was delivered was such an incredible boost for a lonely sailor, I will never forget it. In California, protesters would spit at me in my dress blues.

BTW, this type of thing shaped my political outlook for the rest of my life.
