We used to go swimming in an abandoned quarry as teens. After swimming and jumping all afternoon we would break for lunch and beers. It takes a few tries with old bread and doritos but the fry will attract small bream, then big bream and small bass, then a lot of big bass until a few mac daddies cut through the cloud. It was fun to watch.

There was a story of a rig where workers kept seeing ded sharks everyday. So wondering why they kept seeing them they went down there and saw a giant pacific octopus hanging out in a compartment where the base of the rig touched the sea.
