Otherwise the outcome is hard to say". Meaning unless you guys act professionally and treat the Sino-Can relation with respect it deserves, there's no point to talk.

I don't think he can even frame a proper sentence without using "We believe in free....".

There are very, very few non-native Chinese persons who can translate the "intent" or " inflex" of Mandarin or Cantonese. The inflex is just as complex as are colloquialisms in American English. Western media most often jump to any conclusion they expected, rather than wait for a good translation.

Trudeau is unprofessional in that sense. China showed respect and was true to their words while Canada was not. Respect and agreement is a mutual thing for it to be successful. What a shame Trudeau
