Honestly doing the Frenzy Flame ending was something I couldnt get myself to do for a long time, and when I finally did it for the achivement... I felt wrong, doing that and seeing Melina leave in dissapointment only added to the shame, but at least I know she will give that character the destined death they deserve

The wild part is the game has several incredibly well loved npcs despite how limited the dialogue is. Millicent, Alexander, hewg, boc, roderika, blaidd, hell even Ranni, but Melina just sits in the background doing nothing for 99% of the game. It’s honestly frustrating how underutilized she is

I’ve always seen the frenzy flame as a interpretation of the first flame from dark souls, to re link the flame every cycle and start again, In elden ring were just restarting that old flame

You can cleanse yourself from the frenzy after using its flame to burn the elden tree. Melina saved, no destroyed world.
