Series please!! I for one really wanted this video to be an hour long. There's so much potential here, and your footage makes Hogwarts even more glorious than when I play the game myself.

17:46 the narrative about Central Hall actually says "Our King's Cross Station" which was opened in 1852.

Professor Weasley didn't call Central Hall Grand Central Station, she called it Kings Cross Station.

Also, Gloucester is pronounced 'Glosster' Yeah, one of those kind of British place names.

You know we wouldn't mind watching an hour+ of this ! DO IT! ( My favorite spaces is the Herbology section and Hufflepuff common room. As well as the kitchen! )

The four house common rooms are amazing: Ravenclaw (of which I belong) has not only the feeling of being high up, it has an outdoor portico you can fly from and land on. There's so much more to explore that I would urge further interior walkthroughs when time permits.

I was waiting an architect to provide their perspective on Hogwarts, finally we have a realistic and faithful enough representation to review on!

Would love to see your opinion on the other three Common Rooms in the castle. They're such beautiful spaces.

This entire debate is silly. Enjoying something someone creates in no way means you support any or all of the things the creator says or does. Hitler passed a very good animal rights law. Supporting that says nothing about one's opinion on everything else he did. I don't know anything about the person who created Harry Potter and I couldn't care less while I enjoy the series and universe. On the other hand, she is perfectly entitled to her opinion and the right to speak it.

What amazes me is that I’ve never seen such a massive structure completely open with no loading zones in a big open world like this. It is such an incredible achievement especially considering how much is happening inside the school, the number of things to interact with, and the insane level of detail. I have spent hours walking through the castle learning to navigate ít properly and just looking at the beautiful details. The art design team really went above and beyond on this project.

i think it was kings cross station if i remember correctly!
Edit: Please go over all the common rooms! :)

I think they did a very good job of making Hogwarts into a continuous space, where each area feels distinct, but also feels like part of the whole. The level of detail is great as well, so few spaces feel like they exist simply to transition into the next. The careful but ruthlessly selective inclusion of film locations helps keep it from straying too far.
The magical aspect does allow liberties to be taken, but they restrained themselves from taking them too far, to the point that willing suspension of disbelief is broken. And of course, there is a little artistic licence to be had as well.
While I wouldn't usually expect it in one structure, growing up in an old city in the UK, the eclectic mix of architecture from multiple periods is somewhat familiar. This iteration of Hogwarts therefore has a sense of comfort and feels decidedly British.
I also think that with any genre like this there was a risk of going a little too German in the pursuit of the "fantasy castle" aesthetic and ended up with Disneyland.

Thanks for taking us on an Architectural journey, what a fantastic ride it was. I'm astonished computers are capable of rendering this level of detail at such a large scale. Imagine when we can use VR to walk inside worlds like this. Recreating ancient architecture in VR

I would love to see how you designed the Room of Requirement! Also the best view *spoiler alert* may be from the roof top access of Raven Claws common rooms. You will need to collect a lof of Moon statues to get there. Also Slytherin's common rooms are underwater, so you should definitely check that out! Oh and the little mini apartment complex in the hidden kitchen of the house elf's, in the basement next to the Hufflepuff common room entrance.

One thing I noted, in the castle is the space of the tower floors based on the size of the tower from the outside is much larger than what you see inside, so there is all these spaces in the castle that you can't access and there isn't even unopenable doors to these "spaces" Its like half the castle is just solid stone without any rooms in them.

I've got to say, the team responsible for architectural design in this game did an incredible job. Not only did they manage to incorporate pretty much all recognizable elements from the movies, they did it in a way that feels coherent and respectful to the original. It truly made me believe that is the castle I remember from my childhood, some minor differences could be easily explained by the passage of time and magical nature of the buildings. Anyway, could you do a similar video on different common rooms and perhaps throw in other memorable locations like the headmasters office?

17:49 The character (Prof Weasley) actually mentions King's Cross, not Grand Central. King's Cross opened in October, 1852.
I think you just Mandela'd yourself, Morphologis. Or you were shoddily Obliviated. Either or.

I'm so sick of everyone having to bend the knee to the mob before every video about Harry Potter.

Whatever crazy ideas people have about biology has nothing to do with fantasy world's. And not agreeing with people isn't hateful. I'm so sick of politics ruining everything.

I think it’s worth mentioning that Rowling got her inspiration for Hogwarts from the beautiful city of Edinburgh, especially the old town, where she wrote the first book. ✌🏼

As a Ravenclaw, I had a different common room experience and would be interested in watching a comparison video between each common room and how they and the dormitory sections display the values, lifestyles and experiences the students would have at their stay in Hogwarts.
